Happy GM’s Day! As part of Gnome Stew’s March 4th blitz, we’re holding our third contest.
We thought, “What does every GM need?” And the answer was “A set of badass metal dice.”
The Prize
Specifically, a set of 16mm solid metal polyhedral dice with a brushed steel finish from Crystal Caste.
Crystal Caste makes great dice, and these puppies are $45 — they’re not your grandpa’s worn, un-inked plastic nuggets.
Sure, they’re called “Dwarven Stones” — but it’s a little-known fact that dwarves actually can’t forge for shit. These are Gnomish Stones, my friend.

Yes, I will even take up DMing again with some new dice! I could run Serenity, which would keep the 12-sider from getting lonely.
I shall roll them upon my keyboard to see what appears upon the screen.
I know someone who happens to be a big fan of Dungeons and Dragons, and I know that this person would be extremely happy and ecstatic if they won these beautiful dice.

These Dice are awesome! I would love to add them to the GM arsonel. My players are sick of dealing with “Black Death” ( an old paranoia black die that seems to roll 20s way more often then any other number! ).

I’m a GM and freelancer, and I love this blog!
Crystal Caste make some pretty awesome dice; for mundane sets, I tend to prefer Chessex, but for more exotic sets made of (for example) solid steel, Crystal Caste is the best.
I already have a metal dice bag (Chain mail; handmade by a friend), so I should really have a set of metal dice.
Metal dice? I’ve got quite a few, but no metal ones. On a completely unrelated note, this blog is great.
