Happy GM’s Day! As part of Gnome Stew’s March 4th blitz, we’re holding our third contest.
We thought, “What does every GM need?” And the answer was “A set of badass metal dice.”
The Prize
Specifically, a set of 16mm solid metal polyhedral dice with a brushed steel finish from Crystal Caste.
Crystal Caste makes great dice, and these puppies are $45 — they’re not your grandpa’s worn, un-inked plastic nuggets.
Sure, they’re called “Dwarven Stones” — but it’s a little-known fact that dwarves actually can’t forge for shit. These are Gnomish Stones, my friend.
And they’re dead sexy:

How to Enter
We like to make our contests easy to enter — all you have to do is comment on this article, and you’ll be entered to win.
To comment, you’ll need to have a Gnome Stew account. If you don’t already have one, you can register here.
One entry per person, and as always Gnome Stew authors are not eligible to win. You’re welcome to comment more than once, but only the first one will count.
Winning
This contest will end at 7:15 am Mountain time on Tuesday, March 10th. The winner will be chosen at random, and we’ll announce the proud owner of these dice in a separate article.
The lucky winner will be contacted by email, so make sure your Gnome Stew account is tied to your actual email address.
That’s all there is to it. We wish everyone who enters the best of luck, and we can’t wait to give away this set of dice!

Me! I want pretty dice.
Will you ship to Australia if I win?
I laready have a set, with ‘gold’ finish. But one can always use more dice!
These are nice dice 😉
Oh me, please please please! I’ll give you 2000xp and a +4 holy avenger
Ooh… they are rather shiny. If I win, I promise I’ll start running a game again!
Entering … even though I’ve sworn never again to use any other dice since I got my GameScience ones.
It’s only right for the DM to have the coolest dice at the table, so I’m in!
A reward for the GM. Excellent!
A fitting choice for a GM’s day contest. Consider me entered!
Might as well give it a shot.
Finally, something I can throw at my players that will hurt.
I can has dices nao plz?
The dice are awesome. Not quite as awesome as the site, but you take what you can get.
@lukeii – Yep, international shipping is no problem. 🙂
Happy GM Day!
I like free stuff. Especially free dice. Happy GM’s Day.
I’m assuming that if you’ll ship dice Down Under that you’ll ship them to Canada?
To my GMs: Thanks Mike and Tom. You made high school amazing.
Very nice. Small and solid, like a Gnome!
Very nice to see that people do continue to propose interesting and fresh point of views about RPG. Keep Gnome Stew going !
And the dice are nice, not as much as mice dice but indeed as cool as ice.
Wow, I do need some rest. 😉
This was sufficient incentive for me to create an account (as opposed to simply reading the main RSS feed).
Happy GM Day!

Hey, dice?
@Ameron – Yep. We have readers all over the world — if ever a contest prize can’t be shipped internationally, we’ll say so specifically in the contest rules.
Yeah I’d like some pretty metal dice. 🙂
