Dream Weaved Worlds [1] offers free 1″ gridded map tiles for fantasy RPGs [2] in PDF form.
Along with full-color artwork — which looks great — their tiles have GM-friendly touches, like using pips at the gridpoints when the grid itself isn’t shown (in the space beyond dungeon walls, for example).
If you play D&D, or any other minis-oriented fantasy fame, scare up a color printer and check these tiles out. Kudos to DWW for making these not only attractive and useful, but free. (Via EN World [3].)

they look great but I am afraid that I will probably never print them as there are pretty heavy on the black. 🙁

Thanks for the comment, I’ll try to add a white frame version as soon as I got the time instead of the black frame so you can save some ink

Those are great. I do a lot of image display on laptop or through a TV or projector, so the printing won’t be an issue. Very nice Cyberdrake.

…and kudos to DWW again for working on white-frame tiles — that’s a great idea!
