Adventure Writing Resources

With Worldwide Adventure Writing Month kicking off yesterday [1], I figured now would be a good time for a roundup of the various adventure writing tips and tools that have been posted on TT over the years.

If you’re stuck or just need some advice and inspiration, see if any of these grab you. From the blog:

From the forums [14]:

And the wiki [19]:

Any tools you’d like to add to the list?

Can anyone recommend an auto-word-counting widget thingy for a blog? I seem to recall one being recommended… somewhere around here, maybe.

I’m independently hosting my blog, so nothing wordpress-dependent or whatever, please (although other TT patrons might find those useful, I suppose.)

One day, there will be a course in college called “Gming RPGs”!
and then, we can get a “Masters in gming”!
What does it have to do with the topic?
Well, there´s so much information in this site that we could base half the course on it!!!
I would call Robin Law to be the headmaster… or would it be Martin??? lol.

It´s so nice to have so many tips on the fly. Why not create something like a POKÉ-AGENDA. something you can ask: What do I f***ing do now? I´m stuck!
Then it would give you the right tip during the game! hauhau
